07-02 we spent 7-01 hanging out at the hotel room I am still on O2. My take a couple of more days. Carrying a bottle to breath with and being attached to a plastic tube gives a person a much different perspective on the world.

07-02 we caught the train to back to Silverton where we left the truck parked at the train station. Carried 2 bottles of Oxygen to keep from passing out. I did take it off once, you know just to test, and yes you will pass out.

06-30 After a day and night of not being able to stand up with out passing out and passing out when I started to fall asleep we pushed the wilderness rescue button on the Delorme InReach Tracker. Anthony and another person were able to send/receive text messages back and forth to the inflight Helicopter. They gave my status, info there was landing area and location. Anthony really handled this well.

06-30 When then checked my Oxygen level it showed 61percent saturation not good. Fortunately they got me on O2 really quick. Anthony really did well with this I am sure a little scary. He did get some good pictures.

06-30 Hooked up in the Emergency room - well I guess the next adventure will be easier with out all that extra padding I have. The only treatment of altitude sickness is to get to a lower altitude. Durango is at 6500 Feet. I am feeling a lot better.

06-30 Well the rest of the afternoon was a little boring while trying to get my O2 blood level up. The O2 did not come up high enough to let the hospital let me leave with out carrying an oxygen bottle with me.
